The Importance of Pool Service & Maintenance

Pool service and maintenance are essential to ensuring the longevity, safety, and enjoyment of your pool. Regular maintenance helps keep the water clean and balanced, preventing the growth of harmful bacteria and algae that can pose health risks. It also involves checking and servicing the pool’s filtration and circulation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently to keep the water clear and inviting. By addressing minor issues before they become major problems, routine maintenance can save you money on costly repairs and extend the lifespan of your pool’s equipment. Additionally, a well-maintained pool enhances the overall aesthetic appeal and value of your property, providing a safe and beautiful environment for relaxation and recreation.

The job of keeping a pool up-to-date can be difficult, especially with the unique conditions present. Falling debris from nearby trees, and shrubs, unbalanced pool chemistry, or any other number of factors can cause serious damage. Most individuals don’t have the expertise to handle these issues, but with us, you won’t have to worry. We’re here to help!

Leak Detection

It's normal for your pool to lose small amounts of water, due to normal pool use, environmental conditions, water temperature and even backwashing the filter. However, there are instances when water loss is problematic, which can cause severe damage to your pool or its equipment if not repaired immediately.

If you've determined there is a possible leak, contact us immediately. While most leaks are easily repairable and require little invasive repair work, those that are left undetected and unrepaired could result in serious and costly structural damage.

Our leak detection experts use state-of-the-art equipment and their extensive knowledge to find the origin of the leak and repair it efficiently and effectively. Contact us today to help resolve your pool leak and restore your pool back to normal working order.

Pool Inspections

A swimming pool is a great investment for your home. There is a sense of confidence in the quality of the pool if you hired the contractor, selected the materials and design, and were actively involved throughout the project. But what if you are purchasing a home with an existing pool? How would you know if it is working as intended? Are there any repairs needed? Texas Pools offers residential pool inspection services to put your mind at ease.

We perform a visual and operational inspection of the pool and equipment. After our inspection is completed, we provide a detailed report covering all the points of inspection, including items that are in need of repair.

Automation Upgrades

Here at Texas Pools, we believe that your time is important. That is why we strive to provide you with the most energy-efficient and easy-to-manage custom poolscape. By utilizing energy-efficient equipment, you can reduce your energy usage and lower your associated costs while taking the hassle out of pool ownership. Furthermore, you can gain more time to actually enjoy your pool with the integration of an automated control system. With the tap of a button, you can heat up your pool or spa before you arrive, all while controlling it remotely through a smartphone device.

Drain & Clean

Industry standards recommend draining your pool every 4-5 years. Exactly how often will depend on your maintenance schedule, how frequently the pool is used, and what kind of environment the pool is in.

Over time a pool builds up an excessive amount of organic, inorganic mater and chemical residues that can prevent the pool from being properly balanced, while also reducing the water’s sparkle that you have come to love.

With our drain and clean process, we provide a safe pressure wash and brushing to your pool’s surface that will remove dirt build up, light staining and will allow the opportunity to refresh your pool’s water. This will bring back the fresh, clean look and feel of your pool.

Green to Clean

Do you have a pool that for some reason or another has lost its way and has turned a deep green instead of blue? If the water is so murky that you can't discern what lurks six to eight inches below the surface, then our Green to Clean service is probably your best bet.

Our Standard Green-to-Clean service includes:

  • Assessment of the pool’s condition to determine if the pool can be brought back to blue chemically or by a drain and clean.
  • Chemical treatment will include a heavy dose of chemical shock, followed by a full pool clean, chemical rebalancing and a filter clean.
  • If a drain and clean is needed, we will drain the pool, pressure wash & scrub the pool’s surface and refill the pool. Next, we will clean the filter system and balance the pools chemicals.
  • In either case we will make up to 2 or 3visits to the pool for treatment and to make sure your pool is back to normal.
  • Finally, we will provide you with an electronic report on the water’s chemistry and any important details about the pools condition that you will need to know going forward.

Acid Washes

Does your pools plaster have lingering stains, streaks or discoloration that will not go away with normal maintenance? Then it might be time for an acid wash to bring your pool out of the dull and dinge to blue and sparkle once more!

At Texas Pools, we provide comprehensive pool acid washes to help remove those pesky stains and get your pool back to looking its best. We understand that over time pools lose that new plaster look and feel and need thorough cleaning.

Our team is experienced in handling the chemicals necessary to properly and safely clean the surfaces of your pool. Not only do our acid washes make your pool look great, but they also ensure your family's safety by eliminating any unwanted bacteria or debris that can accumulate over time. Let us help you maintain your pool with our top-notch pool acid washes.

Bead Blasting

Texas Pools is proud to offer pool bead blasting services, that provides an effective and safe way to restore your pools dull tile surfaces to its original glory days appearance.

Over time as water evaporates from your pools waterline it can leave behind calcium and other mineral buildup on your tile surfaces. With our bead blasting services, we can safely remove this build up leaving your tile looking new again.

This non-invasive procedure is eco-friendly, requires no additional chemicals, and is less disruptive to the environment than traditional methods of pool cleaning. With Texas Pools, you can rest assured that your pool will look its best, with a service that is safe, effective, and eco-friendly.
